The 8th SingHealth Duke-NUS Scientific Congress (SDC 2027) takes place on 17–18 September 2027 in Singapore. It is a signature biennial event of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre, one of Asia's largest academic medical centres.
About the congress
The congress gives thought leaders, healthcare professionals, researchers and educators a place to meet, spark ideas and share insights on the latest innovations in academic medicine. This global gathering explores how cutting-edge research and real-world outcomes shape the future of healthcare, and how international exchange can turn innovative ideas into real impact on society. The 2027 theme is still to be announced.
What to expect
As in previous editions, the programme is expected to span the full academic medicine mission:
- Clinical care and research — from bench to bedside, clinical trials and translational science
- Education — innovation in medical, nursing and allied health education
- Population health and health services research
- Innovation, technology and AI in healthcare delivery
- Multidisciplinary tracks for doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists and administrators
- Poster and oral abstract presentations, plus award sessions
Organisers
SingHealth brings together Singapore General Hospital, KK Women's and Children's Hospital, Changi General Hospital, Sengkang General Hospital, the National Cancer, Heart, Neuroscience, Eye and Dental Centres, SingHealth Polyclinics and community hospitals, in partnership with Duke-NUS Medical School.
