A structured 6-month initiative by the Saudi Nurses Association (SNA) designed to support nurses in developing research knowledge, research design skills, and academic writing competencies through guided mentorship with experienced nurse researchers.
Program specialty focus: Cardiovascular Nursing.
Program includes:
• One-on-one mentor–mentee support
• Virtual mentorship meetings
• Research development workshops
• Guidance in developing research ideas and research design
• IRB preparation guidance
• Abstract, poster, and manuscript writing support
• Professional networking and academic growth opportunities
Priority research areas: heart failure nursing care and patient self-management; cardiac catheterization nursing and procedural care; STEMI pathways and cardiovascular emergency response; post-cardiac surgery nursing outcomes; patient education, adherence, and discharge readiness; remote patient monitoring and digital cardiovascular care; nursing workload, missed care, and quality outcomes in cardiac settings.
Eligibility (Mentees): Open to nurses from King Abdullah Medical City interested in nursing research, particularly in cardiovascular nursing and related clinical areas.
Mentors: PhD-prepared nurses, nurse researchers, and experienced faculty members with expertise, publication experience, or scholarly contributions in cardiovascular nursing research.
