The Saudi Spine Society invites healthcare professionals to its 9th Annual Conference, held under the theme "Innovation in Spine Care", in Riyadh from 13 to 15 November 2026. The congress takes place in the Siwar Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC Hotel & Convention Center.
The three-day programme opens with a dedicated pre-conference day on Friday 13 November 2026, given over to scientific and hands-on workshops. The main congress follows on 14 and 15 November 2026 and brings together keynote lectures, scientific sessions, panel discussions, abstract presentations, an industry exhibition, education programmes and networking opportunities. The society expects around 1,000 healthcare professionals across the three days.
The conference is deliberately multidisciplinary. It is designed for orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, anesthesia and pain management specialists, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, interventional radiologists, neurologists, physiotherapists, endocrinologists, nurses and other professionals whose work touches the spine. That breadth mirrors the society itself: the Saudi Spine Society is a multidisciplinary scientific association whose members span every discipline involved in preventing, managing and rehabilitating spine disease, and it works in full collaboration with the North American Spine Society.
The scientific programme is built around the full width of spine practice rather than a single surgical viewpoint. The society's membership brings together neurosurgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, anaesthesia and pain specialists, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, radiologists, neurologists, neurophysiologists, physiotherapists and nurses, and the conference is organised for that same audience - from diagnosis and surgical management through to pain control, imaging and rehabilitation.
Five pillars frame the 9th edition: scientific excellence, innovation and technology, global collaboration, education and training, and advancement of patient care. The poster for the conference also carries the mark of Saudi Arabia's Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026, signalling the society's intention to place emerging technology squarely in the spine-care conversation.
