ASCP Digital Pathology Experience Forum
Wednesday 2 September 2026 · 12:00 PM Eastern Time (7:00 PM KSA) · One hour · Live virtual, CME/CMLE accredited
ASCP hosts a one-hour interactive forum led by pathologists and laboratory professionals who have implemented digital pathology in clinical practice. The format combines practical guidance, peer-to-peer learning, live audience polling, moderated discussion and Q&A.
Faculty discuss how their organisations planned, implemented and scaled digital pathology programmes and how they handled the technical, operational and organisational obstacles along the way. Topics include setting implementation goals, securing institutional support, building multidisciplinary teams, assessing infrastructure requirements, selecting and validating digital pathology systems, preparing the laboratory workforce, meeting regulatory requirements, and strategies for overcoming common barriers.
The session also examines how digital pathology is reshaping laboratory operations — workflow efficiency, remote consultation and preliminary diagnosis, remote interpretation, digital archiving, biomarker analysis, and emerging computational pathology and AI-assisted applications.
Ideal for: pathologists, laboratory directors and managers, pathologists' assistants, medical laboratory scientists and other laboratory professionals preparing for or advancing digital pathology adoption.
Registration is via the official ASCP Zoom webinar page.
