The Turkish National Pediatric Society marks its 70th anniversary with the 70th Turkish National Pediatrics Congress, held jointly with the 2nd International Congress of the Society, from 4 to 8 November 2026 at the Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek Hotel in Antalya.
Seventy years after its founding, the society has built this edition as its most international to date. Confirmed invited faculty travel from Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, Croatia, Romania, Azerbaijan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Uzbekistan and further afield, joining a large Turkish academic faculty drawn from paediatric departments across the country. The organisers describe the aim plainly: to address the current and future-defining topics of child health through international scientific interaction and multidirectional exchange.
The five-day programme is organised around the society's declared main topics and runs a parallel course track (Kurslar) in addition to the plenary and symposium sessions. Content spans general paediatrics and primary child health, neonatology, paediatric infectious disease and immunisation, growth and development, paediatric endocrinology, gastroenterology and nutrition, paediatric neurology, allergy and immunology, adolescent medicine, and social paediatrics — with attention to preventive care and public health dimensions of child wellbeing that the society has historically championed.
Abstract submission is open through the congress portal, with accepted work presented in oral and poster sessions. Courses are separately enrolled and are aimed at residents and early-career paediatricians.
Registration and accommodation are handled together through the congress website, with packages covering the Belek resort venue. The site publishes the invitation letter, the main topics list, the board and organising committee members, the scientific programme, course details and general information for delegates.
For paediatricians in the region, the congress is Türkiye's principal annual paediatric meeting and now offers a genuinely international faculty alongside its national programme.
