The 1st Cardio-Kidney-Metabolic (CKM) Conference takes place on 29–30 January 2027 at the Voco Riyadh Hotel, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The organiser has announced these as new dates for the meeting, which was first planned for 2026.
The heart, the kidney and metabolic health are deeply connected, yet patients with diabetes, obesity, chronic kidney disease and cardiovascular disease are often managed by separate specialities with limited coordination. For the first time in the region, cardiology, nephrology and endocrinology come together in one integrated programme of plenary sessions, case rounds, debates and practical workshops, aimed at building real collaboration and translating evidence into care pathways.
Learning objectives
- Describe the shared pathophysiology of cardio-renal-metabolic disease and identify high-risk patients
- Apply evidence-based therapy across specialties (SGLT2i, GLP-1 RA, RAAS blockade and ns-MRA) with practical safety monitoring
- Design or improve multidisciplinary clinic workflows and shared-care pathways
- Prioritise implementation and research initiatives that measure outcomes across specialties
