2nd Saudi Breast Cancer Expert Consensus Conference 2026
18 Dec 2026 – 19 Dec 2026 · InterContinental Riyadh, King Saud Road, Conferences, Riyadh 11481, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia · In-Person
"From Debate to Direction" — the 2nd Saudi Breast Cancer Expert Consensus Conference takes place 18–19 December 2026 at the InterContinental Riyadh, offering 16 CME hours. The Chairperson of the Organizing Committee is Dr. Sabah Alaklabi, MD (King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre). The organiser has not announced a separate Scientific Committee chair. The meeting brings together national, regional, and international breast cancer experts.
Who should attend: oncologists (medical, surgical, radiation), breast surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, oncology pharmacists and nurses, researchers, and trainees in cancer care.
Purpose
This is a working conference, not a lecture series. Sessions examine current evidence, tackle areas of genuine clinical controversy, and convert that debate into practical consensus recommendations for managing early and metastatic breast cancer in Saudi practice.
Scientific Scope
The programme spans prevention, screening and diagnosis, systemic therapy, surgical and radiation management, and survivorship, with dedicated sessions bridging early-stage and metastatic disease.
The full two-day scientific programme is now published and listed here: Medical Crossfire® debates (NATALEE/monarchE/OPTIMA, DESTINY-Breast09, PD-L1-negative TNBC), "Show Me the Data" sessions on oral SERDs and HER2 curative therapy, ADC sequencing in HER2-low and TROP2-directed disease, axillary management after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, a Neuro-Oncology Tumor Board, a Molecular Tumor Board (ESR1, ctDNA, PI3K/AKT), and a two-hour Consensus Statements session closing Day 2. An Agenda at a Glance and a Workshop track are still to be published. Registration opens soon on the official site; sponsors and partners include AstraZeneca, Novartis, MSD, GSK, Amgen, Gilead/Kite, Johnson & Johnson, Takeda, Servier, Sobi, SERB, Hikma, Kyowa Kirin, BeOne Medicines, SPC, Tabuk Medical Company and Juniper.
