Endourology 2027 Istanbul Summit

The Endourological Society brings its 2027 Istanbul Summit to the city where East meets West, gathering urologists, endourologists, fellows and trainees from around the world for three days of surgical demonstration, hands-on training and high-level scientific exchange in minimally invasive urological surgery.
Programme structure
Day 1 — 14 January 2027: Live & Semi-Live Surgery Day. The summit opens with world-class surgical demonstrations broadcast from Koç University Hospital, alongside a comprehensive series of hands-on masterclasses led by internationally recognised experts. The venue basement training floor houses Intuitive da Vinci Xi and X robotic systems, a Medtronic Hugo RAS platform, nine laparoscopy towers, nine cadaveric working stations and five pulsatile organ perfusion trainers — allowing participants to refine technique on the same equipment they use in theatre.
Days 2–3 — 15–16 January 2027: Main Scientific Programme. Distinguished international faculty present the latest advances and future directions in endourology through state-of-the-art lectures, expert panel discussions, interactive case-based sessions, live surgical demonstrations and structured debates.

Who should attend
Experienced urological surgeons, early-career specialists, endourology and robotic fellows, and urology residents/trainees seeking practical exposure to stone disease management, BPH surgery, robotic and laparoscopic urology.
Call for video abstracts
Video abstracts are collected through the official online submission system. Submissions must include Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusion, must not exceed 5 minutes in duration or 1,000 words, and a single presenting author may submit a maximum of five video abstracts. Accepted authors receive 5 minutes for presentation plus 3 minutes of discussion.

Registration fees
The 2-day symposium fee (15–16 January) also includes the Live & Semi-Live Surgery Day on 14 January. 20% VAT is added to all prices.

Venue
RMK AIMES (Rahmi M. Koç Academy of Interventional Medicine, Education and Simulation) is a five-floor, 6,500 m² conference and simulation centre sharing a campus with Koç University Hospital — a purpose-built setting with established live surgery broadcast links between the hospital theatres and the lecture halls.
Leadership
Chaired by Prof. Burak Turna and Prof. A. Erdem Canda, with Endourological Society leadership including President Michael YC Wong, Secretary General Li-Ming Su, International Liaison John D. Denstedt, and European Regional Lead Christopher Netsch.
