8th Red Sea International Conference of the Saudi Ophthalmology Society — SOS 2027

The Saudi Ophthalmology Society has announced the 8th edition of its Red Sea International Conference, returning to Jeddah from 4 to 6 November 2027. RSOS is the Kingdom's largest ophthalmology gathering and one of the most significant eye-care meetings in the Middle East, bringing together ophthalmologists, optometrists, subspecialty societies and industry from Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and internationally.
Previous editions have hosted thousands of participants across more than 50 scientific sessions, dozens of instructional courses and live surgical workshops, with hundreds of scientific papers presented by leading regional and international faculty. The programme traditionally spans the full breadth of the specialty — cornea and anterior segment, refractive and cataract surgery, retina and vitreoretinal surgery, glaucoma, uveitis, oculoplastics, ocular oncology, neuro-ophthalmology, and paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus — alongside dedicated tracks for young ophthalmologists, medical education and evidence-based practice.
