    About this event

The 11th Saudi Pediatric Neurology Society Conference and Workshops takes place from 11 to 14 November 2026 at voco Gate Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, organised by the Saudi Pediatric Neurology Society (SPNS).

The conference features a comprehensive scientific programme covering neonatal neurology, spinal muscular atrophy, neuroinflammatory disorders, epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, neurogenetics and a wide range of related paediatric neurology topics. Alongside the main scientific sessions, the meeting runs its established hands-on workshops, which in previous editions have covered EEG interpretation, neurophysiology, neuromuscular assessment and practical case-based management.

The event brings together leading experts, specialists, researchers and healthcare practitioners in paediatric neurology from across Saudi Arabia, the Gulf region and beyond, offering opportunities for knowledge exchange, professional development and networking with the national paediatric neurology community.

Leadership: Prof. Fahad Al Bashiri, Professor and Consultant Pediatric Neurologist and Epileptologist at King Saud University, serves as SPNS President. Dr. Musaad Abukhaled, Consultant Pediatric Neurology, Epilepsy and Stroke and Deputy Director of the Neuroscience Centre of Excellence at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, chairs the congress. Dr. Safinaz Al Harthi, Consultant Pediatric Neurologist and ADHD specialist at the Center for Developmental and Behavioral Disorders, East Jeddah Hospital, chairs the scientific committee.

The organising and scientific committees draw consultants from King Fahad Medical City, King Saud Medical City, Prince Sultan Military Medical City, King Abdulaziz University, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Security Forces Hospital, the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs and King Fahad Specialist Hospital Dammam — a strong indication of the national reach of the meeting.

Abstract submission is open through the society's official abstract portal, and previous editions have featured poster presentations from residents, fellows and medical students alongside the invited faculty programme. Delegates who presented at the 10th edition describe a rich, clinically relevant scientific programme with strong case discussions and practical workshop learning.

Registration is handled online through the official ticketing portal operated by Maarefah Management on behalf of the society. Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are available directly from the organisers.

Target audience: paediatric neurologists, epileptologists, general paediatricians, neonatologists, neurophysiologists, neurogeneticists, paediatric residents and fellows, neuroscience nurses, physiotherapists and allied health professionals working with children with neurological conditions.
